I know that this is US centric, but since my readership is almost non-existant anyway, I’ll put this out.
We live in a democracy, and to make this form of government work, eligible citizens need to vote. If you do not vote, then you have no cause to gripe about the results. You have the right to say what you want, but no cause. This is an important distinction to me.
To this end, here is where you can download the US voter registration form. Fill it out and mail it to the address requited by your state. At the end of the form is a list of states and the state’s requirements. Unfortunately, one does need to place a stamp on the voter registration forms, but if you cannot afford the 37 cents for the stamp, then you probably won’t be voting anyway.
Oh, this form is in the Portable Document Format, or PDF, so you need to have a reader installed. If you cannot manage this part, then you probably shouldn’t be allowed to vote. (Hint: try
)
