I love it when multiple produce coalesce into a single offering. MP3 players on your cell phone (Pocket Tunes, Samsung SPH-V7900, et. al.). PDAs combined with your cell phone (Treo, Blackberry’s, SideKick, et. al.). GPS with a cell phone. GPS combined with an exercise watch (for semi-accurately tracking how far you have run). Why not combine all of the above?

I would love to see a 2 Gig+ flash-based MP3 player combined with a GPS enabled exercise watch/heart monitor combined with a useable cellular phone/digital camera. This should be able to be work on an arm-band, carried in a shirt or pants pocket. It needs to be water proof so that if you (heaven forbid) run in the rain or break a sweat, it won’t die on you.

It needs to be Polar compatible, so that it interacts with all of the exercise equipment I use on a regular basis. I also like to know how long my heart rate has been in the zone when I am using free weights.

This product must be a flash player to that you can do all sorts of weird movements with it. It has to have a decent battery to power the phone/PDA part of it, but it also needs to last 8-12 hours running the MP3 player constantly.

Bluetooth would be cool too. That would solve the problem of a waterproof player since you wouldn’t need a headphone jack. Hey, its even an up-sell and reason to make it more costly/higher end!

If someone makes a decent product that does all of this, I know that I’d buy.
