Ok, I’m a normally crackberry user, which means that I can’t live without it, and yes, I do check it in bed. As of about 8:00 am EST today, I haven’t gotten any of my emails, I haven’t been able to send any emails either–they’re still sitting there with the clock, and I cannot get to any web site using the BlackBerry browser. I am on Verizon wireless and normally a very happy user. I have 5 bars of signal strength and it says I am on 1xEv for the EVDO network. SMS works fine, even between networks.
So Verizon, what gives? Is this a Verizon deal or a RIM problem? Is it centralized? I cannot find anything about this online anywhere else. Does anyone else know anything?

Update: The device started working again at 9:10 pm EST. I still have no idea what was going on.
